Tutors

Sometimes home educating families chose to use tutors, either for specific subjects or as on a more general basis. Local tutors that we become aware of are listed below. Please note, the inclusion of any individual tutor or tutoring organisation in this list does not amount to any endorsement of that site by UK Home Educators Kent and any use of the information by you is at your own risk.

  • Tuesday Tutors is a London based organization (though they can arrange weekend and holiday intensive courses outside of London). They specialise in individual and small group tuition in a range of subjects. they are also happy to advise parents, careers and small organisations on how to provide and validate home education, where appropriate in line with current school syllabuses. Their specialist areas are currently English, drama, maths and physics. Email them at tuesdaytutors@hotmail.co.uk or phone 0207 735 8268 if you would like more information.
